Proper candle care ensures a safe, long-lasting, and enjoyable experience. Follow these tips to make the most of your candles:

1. First Burn

• Ensure an Even Melt Pool : Allow the candle to burn until the wax melts evenly across the surface, reaching the edges of the container. This prevents tunneling and
  promotes an even burn.

2. Wick Maintenance

• Trim the Wick : Before each burn, trim the wick to 1/4 inch (6mm). This helps to prevent soot and ensures a clean, even flame.

3. Burn Time

• Limit Burn Sessions : Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Extended burns can cause the wick to mushroom and the candle to burn unevenly.

4. Extinguishing the Candle

• Use a Snuffer : To avoid hot wax splatter, use a candle snuffer to extinguish the flame. Avoid blowing out the candle.

5. Safety Precautions

• Placement : Keep candles away from drafts, flammable objects, pets, andchildren.
• Surface : Always place candles on a heat-resistant, stable surface.
• Supervision : Never leave a burning candle unattended. Extinguish all candles before leaving the room or going to sleep.

6. Storage

• Cool, Dry Place : Store candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Heat can cause the wax to melt or lose its shape.
• Dust-Free : Keep candles free from dust and debris to prevent uneven burning.

7. Container Reuse

• Clean Out Residual Wax : Once the candle has burned down, place the container in the freezer for a few hours. This makes it easier to remove any remaining wax.

8. Troubleshooting Common Issues

• Tunneling : If your candle is tunneling, wrap aluminum foil around the top of the container with an opening in the center. This helps melt the outer wax.
• Soot Production : If your candle produces soot, check the wick length. Trim it to 1/4 inch to ensure a clean burn.
